Forfar Athletic vs Thistle - December 12th

Never found a Forfar man in the 90. I've no idea what Malcolm sees in him, he just runs around pointing and moaning.

Agreed. Fair enough him going in the middle of the park after we had to reshuffle, but once Foxy came on it was crazy to keep him there.

That was... ok? We’re really not very good to watch; the ball goes long far too often, and when it doesn’t and we actually move the ball up the pitch the final product is usually wasteful. Whilst we never really look like losing games like today or vs Dumbarton last week, we’re hardly convincing either.

That said, it’s refreshing to see some defensive solidity after years of chucking in soft goals. Sena had another good game today and is forming a strong partnership with Brownlie, and today’s win to nil makes 5 clean sheets in a row. Of course, this is helped by the likes of today where our opponents don’t seem particularly interested in trying to score goals - but it’s still an impressive statistic.

Onto another must win next week.

A fool (me) and his money are soon parted with that awful pixielott stream.

Better from Thistle second half.

We should get stronger as we get closer to having a full squad. All about hanging in there till then but it doesn't make for the easiest of viewing.

Nah I wouldn't have him near it at any point.

Can't get over how bad we are. Zero attacking intent, literally everyone just kicking it anywhere and a shambles at the back, it's a gid laugh like.

Good to see Shea Gordon have an impact for the first time in a while with an assist and a goal. Having two goals from midfield is a plus. Docherty has been overdue a goal too.

Add goals to a solid formation and limiting the opposition to the odd shot from far out we'll be doing okay.

Manager red carded at the end.

A lot of huffing and puffing today, up against a better-fitter-quicker team.

When you are subbing subs then you know something isn't quite right.

He did appear to walk straight for the officials at the final whistle.

No question Thistle were the better team and deserved to win but the first goal shouldn’t have happened if the officials did their jobs in the lead up ie a very blatant foul by PT. the second looked offside but will need to see the far superior highlights later. Also how many times did the Thistle players throw or kick the ball away when we won a free kick or throw in?

They all had the "we are the big time boys" attitude, basically reffed the game themselves by squealing and feigning injury.......we ended up with a mix match side on the park.

Malks said "hope we don't fucking see you again"...😆

Hard shift for a makeshift side, plenty of effort but no threat (although i feel we have one if we started the correct 11)

A good three points. Another clean sheet today which is a big positive and two goals up the other end.
Pixellot worked its usual wonders so I’m looking forward to seeing the highlights for the second goal. The talk of a foul before our first goal I didn’t see, again I’ll wait till the highlights.
I don’t agree we acted ‘big time boys’. If both our goals should not have stood like some Forfar fans are saying, then that is not our doing that’s the officials and secondly kicking the ball away is done by almost every team when they are winning, it’s not exclusive to one of the bigger teams in the league.
