Some Clyde fans go way over the top though after a defeat.

Definitely.

However, I'd suggest that the following is some cause for concern:

  • Losing 6 out of the last 7 (and the one win was an absolute theft from Montrose).
  • Conceding at least two goals in six of the last seven matches.
  • Only scoring in two of six league games.
  • Not winning an away league match in 13 and a half months.
  • The blatantly obvious fact that we have a squad full of poor players and kids put together on the cheap.

We deserved it no doubt, but Clyde caused us more problems than most we've played so far. Glad to get that safely behind us.   Goodwillie was a threat every time he got the ball & Syvertsen looked decent, glad they subbed him off.  Enough on them; Gomis & Dixon were excellent , and both Hall and Telfer look like new players for us.  Table looks healthy tonight, just keep it going... COYB.

Yeah it is some worrying stats. We only lost 3 times at home last season and are at 2 already.

Falkirk were well worth the win but the goals we lost were all from awful defending.

The two postponed games against East Fife and Forfar will be massive for us just need to hope we haven't broke the rules.

If Goodie’s goal stands we may have made a game of it but the upshot of it all is that our defending was horrible. With Mitchell being unavailable we were always up against it.

It’s going to be a long hard season with that “midfield”.

How many minutes in was the offside?

We certainly seem to have gotten to grips with this league this season (amazing what winning the first game can do for you).

I expected Clyde energy levels to tail off second half, but it didn’t really happen. Still think there’s more to come from this squad.

Really want to see us take the next two games by the scruff of the neck. Win those, and it would be hard to see a way back for Thistle. No more shitting the bed as we did at Starks last season.
