He’s horrifically frustrating to watch when he’s like that. Could’ve strangled him when he hit that free kick at the end right out the park.

Aye, even a pedestrian floaty effort there would st least have put some pressure on the Ayr defence.

Thought that was one of our best performances I've seen from us this season. Although first time I've actually seen the whole 90 minutes with a half decent picture. Good going forward and relatively strong at the back.

Could have possibly snatched it at the end with a couple of good chances but draw was probably fair tbh, score draw would have been a better reflection on the game though

Our pitch does not help things does it? You think we'd like to get the ball down and play with a tempo, there are areas of the pitch that look really soft with players slipping up and other areas that seem to be uneven / bobbly.

Wouldn't have happened in the Harkness years.

At least we didn't get beat. Getting anything from Ayr away is always welcome. This was the battle for fourth place as both Pars and ICT should be able to take second and third spot over the season.

Dundee will sack McPake at some stage. When that happens they might challenge.

On that I'd rather be watching Ayr, Raith have more off the ball but achieve little with it, that's not entertaining to watch.

Trying too hard. We’ve lost once in the league this season and are the leagues highest scorer and a better goal difference than the Pars. Not entertaining at all 🙄

Aye its a novelty having a match thread without "have you tried switching it off and back on" comments!

It’s the folk claiming that because it was fine for them, it must be the individual’s internet that’s causing them to have issues that’s really doing it for me lately.

You weren’t entertaining tonight is his point. You knocked the ball about well but didn’t create much. We maybe sat back and soaked up the pressure but we at least created the best chances and played decent stuff on the counter.

Lokotsch should have impressed tonight. He didn't. How many times did we give away possession needlessly, be it misplaced pass or just being caught or slipping on that dodgy pitch? Final ball woeful and Armstrong not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Still, another point against a solid Championship side and at a ground where we're not exactly famous for wins. Happy enough with the point but with some better play in final third and a better final ball it might have been a better outcome.

Depends what defines ‘entertaining’. A few snatched chances on the break or better play overall okay albeit with no cutting edge tonight. Ayr had the better chances no doubt but Rovers were better to watch overall. All just opinion obviously

What a waste of time
Excellent contribution, you muppet.

It was actually a fairly entertaining goalless draw.
We didn't deserve to win that. For all we controlled possession at times, we were really poor in the final third. We are still missing something to turn these into wins when the passing play isn't creating chances.
That said, it's another game where we have committed ourselves very well. We certainly don't look out of place.
Ayr are boring to watch, but defended superbly and created good chances. Much like our 17 18 squad.
Very fair reflection .

Well, we are the highest scorers in the league this season to be fair.

Other than that, yes we achieve little with it.
