I did say it was suggested, just goes to show a lot of people in the media who claim to be in the know aren't actually in the know.

However for me Peter Grant going to DAFC is a positive

There is a shit load of speculation just now so its becoming hard to decipher what is likely to what is utter horse shit like the Peter Grant suggestion. 

Some are saying he can't be officially announced until June 1st, some suggesting its Dom McKay holding it back as he want the announcement made on the same day he takes over on the 1st of July.

It is becoming a bit of a circus now however after last season does it really surprise anyone?

The Daily Record claim every day that there is only one thing holding the deal up so that if he does sign ‘they told you first’.

I'd be very surprised if they held back announcing a manager until 1st of July. That would leave them only 3 weeks to get settled and working with the squad before the CL Qualifiers begin.

This is all very much car crash material - especially so for a cub of Celtic's stature. Rumour after rumour of why it cant/hasn't been announced and yet - a week after the final one of those - there is still nothing. 

Surely there has to come a point where Howe just isn't worth waiting for?

For the rest of us with not much to cheer about with our own teams, St Johnstone excepted, this is just a continuation of the hilarious  Celtic season.

Tbf, a fully engaged Peter Lawell wouldn’t have stood for this. The new lad is from a rugby background where fans have no affinity with their club so it might take him time to get up to speed with the Celtic fans expectations.

I wouldn't bet on us having  plan B either tbh. Enzo Maresca has just went to Parma so we have missed the boat there.

Either way it does nothing to encourage fans to put their hands back in their pockets.

True however hes an intelligent guy and with him being "in role" since April he should now have some awareness of what we expect and what the concerns are.

Either way we are starting to look silly, not that we needed much help with that this season tbf
