The politics of the game is a joke, the guy can manage in the world cup A league J league but UEFA need clarification global game my arse.

Amongst othet things, its to stop absolute loonballs buying a club like Man Utd and appointing themselves as manager.

The only joke is that Celtic have had 3 months to appoint their manager and may be further held up by certification rules that they 100% should know about.

Its not as if UEFA have just made this rule up on the spot. Nor are they saying he cant work in Europe. Just that the application and validation process can take a while.

Your club is in utter shambles.

Dominic McKay is having a nightmare.

To be fair, even though he's in the building, he doesn't actually officially start until  July 1.  However Lawell  has left him inheriting a shambles.

One could be forgiven for thinking that Lawwell has just downed tools in the last year of his contract and has in fact already retired going by the shambles the club has found itself in these past months.......

No more bonuses in it for him.

We are not posting about new money we are posting about a guy who's been in the game for over 20 years.

Should have got a UEFA licence if he wanted to work in Europe.

UEFA need to guard the integrity of the game and that means no automatic recipricol agrrements with lesser confederations.

It is genuinely staggering how quickly Celtic have gone from looking like being in an unassailable position in Scotland and giving every appearance of being a properly well run club to a ramshackle comedy show, last seen under Whites and the Kelly's before wee Fergus came in.

It might all be temporary of course (because Celtic are likely to be on a more stable financial footing than Rangers) - but it is remarkable all the same.

The guy has managed a team in the world cup?
Is there any lesser competition?

Are you implying that UEFA have an agenda against Celtic, a club from a country that UEFA could not give two shits about? Thems the rules which really Celtic should have looked into before now. The club have had four months to sort this out, but let's blame politics in UEFA, that's the Celtic way.

WCW hasn’t suggested anything like that.

No i dont think he is implying that at all nor have i seen anything to suggest Celtic are unhappy with the process either. In fact Celtic have been silent on pretty much everything to do with a managerial appointment bar the Howe statement so implying Celtic are blaming anyone else isn't really true unless something else has happened in the last few hours

And no one is under any illusion that Celtic should have and could have managed this much better than they have.
