Yeah seems to be the case which is really is unthinkable that despite being in contact with Howe since April we are only just now approaching his team to get a decision.

The Maresca ship has also sailed so f**k knows what happens next.

Either way the club are going to have to dig fucking deep to pull something out the bag.

Lucian Favre was apparently an option on the back burner but I don’t know what the f**k to believe anymore 😂

Is Fergal Sharkey still in talks ? At least he’s got a good heart !!

It's going to be John Kennedy, and the announcement will treble down on him being a "Celtic man" and how they were desperate to get someone in who "knows the club and fans".

Sensational.

"The Celtic Way" to feature in the statement somewhere

Ange Postecoglou has been installed as the bookies favourites. Currently managing in the J-League.

Would probably be an excellent choice.

Good at developing players, very experienced at a high level, and has won things in a 'lesser' league after turning round a shambolic club.

Could be an interesting one.

Absolutely, then #OneClubSince1888 at the end, and voila, the mouth breather fans are lauding the club for a job well done.

Alan Nixon saying the deal hasn't collapsed yet, this is just Celtic trying to force Howe to decide as they refuse to wait any longer.

I can’t admit to knowing much about him other than the fact he was linked with us before we appointed Pedro.

Is a hero at Brisbane Roar. Turned the club around and won the title. I'd be upset to see him at Celtic, but he does fit the bill.

Did a great job with a generation of Australian young players as age-level coach and has been at a senior World Cup in 2014, where Australia did well in a tough group, and then won the Asian Euros, if you will.

Also a J-League winner.

Celtic have released a statement saying it wont be Howe.

Just seen that there, nice sign off saying a new manager will be appointed imminently.

It's definitely Kennedy isn't it?

Please be Kennedy.
