Can’t see it being Clarke,

He’s spoken out against both sides of the Old Firm for their sectarianism so would be pretty hypocritical to then join one of them.

He didn’t like the abuse he received from Rangers fans this would be much worse as Celtic manager.

His family are down South so probably wouldn’t suit him.

If they hire him after Euro 2020 (are the dates for this even 100% with Covid?) he’s not available until at least June as unlikely as it is it’s not impossible he take Scotland further.

If he quits before Euro 2020 the abuse he received from Rangers fans would be nothing compared to what he’d get at every club in Scotland.

He’s always managed the underdog so is an unknown with a team expected to win every week.

He might get results but is it the kind of football the Celtic fans want to see, they’ve chased managers before for not playing “The Celtic Way”

I agree with every part of that except for the part about being at a team who expects to win every week. I’d assume that working with Mourinho at Chelsea that was a constant pressure that they had to deal with. Of course he wasn’t the manager at Chelsea.

Wonder if Thierry Henry would be interested. Just quit Montreal as he wants back to UK. Massive name, absolutely everything to prove in management and being in a two horse race could give him that opportunity.

You shouldn't, of course.
