Brechin City v Stranraer

Recommended Posts

Back on the road tomorrow with a trip to face Brechin.

More of the same from our game at Edinburgh City would be nice. Andy Stirling, Jamie Hamill and Sean Burns all missed that game and if any of them are back tomorrow it will give Faz a nice headache. Does he change a winning team to bring any of them back in? It’s also nice to have a stronger bench - something we didn’t manage last season.

Haven’t seen Brechin in a year or so and I know they’ve been through a lot - just not sure what to expect from them, but think we need to get on top early if we’re to win again.

Sadly we are of the same mind at the moment . 🙈

Struggle to find a place for Burns in the starting line up at the minute. Cummins has came in and looked like he’s played left back all his days.
Hamill has looked good when he’s played this season but don’t really want to disrupt what we have there just now.
Would like to see James Hilton given a start. Looked good against Ayr and probably our best performer last season. Doesn’t seem to be getting any run of games though.
For myself and few others the manger still needs to do a bit to prove he’s the man for the job.
We’ve certainly started to get better results in the last two or three weeks but will take more than that to change things.
chance tomorrow to go one better than last years win total though.

I think I would echo the idea of not changing a team that has been performing not too badly. Unfortunately, that falls on Hilton too. He was missing at the start of the season due to injury and I'm not sure who I would take out for him at the moment. A great problem to have though and even better when Stirling, Burns and Elliott are all back.

Victory tomorrow would match last season's win total... We beat Berwick Rangers, Clyde, Dunfermline and Raith last year.

Thought we were on top after half time but conceded 2 cheap goals (especially the first one)

Keeper has cost us too many goals hopefully we get a replacement in jan

Quite agree although the whole defence is shocking.

Too many young lads not streetwise enough.

Passing throughout the whole team is very poor. The heads go down very easily.

Take that today.

Disappointed at half time but three goals made up for it second half.

The difference this year is that in Duffy, Orr, Jaoa and Paton we’ve got guys who will score us goals.

Long way to go but a winning team gains in confidence.

Onto next week.

Well done guys.

KEEP THE FAITH

CMON THE BLUES.
