Sydney absolutely battered them on Saturday and they were unlucky to only get a draw. But apparently they've been pretty rank awful all season. Was hoping Popovic would be first but they probably can’t afford to payout his contract.
GNU_Linux
Men's A-League to expand to 14 in 24/25 then 16 in 25/26. Can't wait for Eastern Sydney Walkers & Melbourne Southeast by East FC. Expressions of interest are also now open for the National Second Division.
Eednud
Watch out for Nestory irankunda in the future. Only 17, scored a fantastic 4th goal, his 3rd this season. He’s played for Australia U17 but was born in Tanzania from at least one Burundi parent so also eligible for 3 countries. Great win and now in 2nd place.
dgbfk7
After a poor start, that's the best I've seen Adelaide play. Looked better after Ibusuki went off.

Swarley
Unsure why Sydney Utd bothered. There's little chance they'll get accepted given recent history.

Swarley
Back to Allianz today for the double header. Sydney Men beat Perth fairly easily 4-1. Sydney Women lost 1-0 to Western Utd who qualified for the Grand Final. For the Women's game my daughter and I moved into the Cove. It had pretty much cleared out but there were still a few there keeping the singing going. Photo is from about half an hour before kick off. Swarley
A comprehensive 4-0 humping sees Melbourne City qualify for the Grand Final and Sydney left to wonder what could of been if Max Burgess hadn't been an utter twat. I'd toyed with the idea of heading down to Melbourne for the game but the cost couldn't be justified. Christ knows how much more expensive it'll be for any City fans heading to the GF. I reckon a Final between City and Adelaide/CCM could be interesting for a neutral but my GF boycott remains in place.
eindhovendee
It'll be CCM in the GF now. Cumdog just laid a goal on a plate to put them 1-0 up, now 2-0. (4-1 agg).

The League will be breathing a sigh of relief with the Mariners in the Final as they’ll have a reasonable crowd. Record 20,059 crowd for a Mariners home game in Gosford tonight.

Shame to hear Cummings is leaving. He's been fantastic for CCM and entertaining. You'd expect a lot of CCM players to be poached. Possibly even Montgomery. City bottle it again.
