Swarley
Upset in today’s Australia Cup Semi Final with NPL side Sydney United 58 came back from being behind twice to defeat Brisbane Roar 3-2 aet. They become the first NPL finalist. Now if Oakleigh Cannons can we do the same to Macarthur on Wednesday.I'd presume if Macarthur win then the Final will be at CommBank Stadium in Parramatta. Unsure how they decide if Oakleigh win. Toss a coin?

Probably AAMI if the Cannons fire and win the toss for venue although wouldn’t be surprised if Football Australia wangle it to be held in Sydney as they’ll get a larger crowd as it’s Sydney United/Croatia. One thing is certain if Macarthur are in the Final there will be far more opposition fans than Bulls fans. GNU_Linux
Football NSW are ditching the finals series starting next season joining Tasmania as the only state not to use the format in it's NPL competitions. This coincides with a re-structure from 12-12-12-11 to 16-16-15.
Eednud
Oakleigh were 1-0 up then until the 44th minute then another in the 4th minute of added time to make it 1-2. Macarthur awarded two second half penalties and into their first Australia Cup Final 2-5.

Eednud
No fairytale ending as Macarthur score in each half to win the Australia Cup 2-0. A-League season starts on Friday with Melbourne City v Western United

Eednud
Didn’t realise the AFC U17 Asian Cup qualifying tournament was on until it popped up on my YouTube recommendations. Australia in same group as Cambodia, China and Northern Mariana with all games being played in Shepparton. China beat Cambodia 9-0 in the early game. At HT in the late game it was Australia 10 Northern Mariana 0. After 83 minutes it’s now 21-0. Eednud
Never knew this was happening. Interesting that a few of the clubs involved are below level 2. West Torrens Birkalla finished bottom of the NPL SA Premier League this season so will be level 3. Caroline Springs George Cross (VIC) used to be Sunshine George Cross and played in the old NSL from 1984 to 1991, Kevin Muscat started with them. They are a Vic State League 1 NW (level 5). Think Wyndham Wolves is Wynnum Wolves, QLD Premier League 2 (level 4).
Eednud
Although I’m a dark blue it’s always good to be a red and beat these dark blue cûnts. Adelaide United 3 Melbourne Victory 0 att: 13, 504 Some good shots of the now covered up Eastern Stand.
Eednud
The APL proving they’re as competent as the FFA/SFA/SPFL by announcing a 3 year deal to host all A-League Grand Finals in Sydney. They will be hoping it’s not Perth Glory v Western Utd and at least 1 Sydney or NSW side makes it. Bunch of useless cûnts.

GFs featuring no Sydney teams will have pish attendances. Hell even if Macarthur qualify it'll be a poor attendance. Here's hoping the sheer weight of criticism overturns the decision.

Victory and Mel C fans supposedly going to do a protest walkout at 20 minute mark of this week’s derby. Canberra and Auckland as new A-League clubs? Canberra yes but another NZ side?

You'd have thought Auckland could put together a team if Wellington can, and it's a good bit closer to Sydney, say, than Perth.
Eednud
During fan protest at the Melbourne derby some idiot has hit the City goalie and ref with something.Wasn’t watching but think game will be abandoned. Any positives from the Socceroos World Cup campaign just down the dunny. Edited December 17, 2022 by Eednud
