With 4 positive and others isolating you’d think this would have to get postponed. Albion rovers got theirs postponed last week.

Albion game was postponed pending an spfl investigation. The big issue is when these games can be played. Highly likely if its postponed, the other team is awarded a 3-0 win.

If you have 13 fit players including a keeper, it should go ahead. Probably less messy this way. It could be us next week.

Awarding a 3-0 win would mean a forfeit, there are plenty midweeks this could get played. Not like there’s a mass of teams sitting with cases. 
 

My personal opinion would be postponed until the first available date to play it, as it should be for all games.

What about St Mirren ? Far as I know they haven't been penalised for any games that have been postponed due to COVID.

Don't think St Mirren's investigation has been completed yet. Killie, Forfar & Albion have all forfeited games so far. It is looking unlikely to go ahead tomorrow though, although I hope it can.

With all due respect, if East Fife were missing half a team, I’d be desperate for the game to go ahead too.

As it is, it’s Clyde missing half a team so I’m desperate for the game to get postponed.

The lower league are a different ball game to the Premier League where it is perfectly possible for players to stay within a relatively small group. Lower league players are mostly part time and have day time jobs to do. It’s therefore almost certain that some clubs will have outbreaks. I’m surprised more haven’t to be honest. We’ve had Forfar, Albion Rovers and now Clyde. More are bound to occur.

League cup games were forfeited as that was the agreed rule before it started, no such rule for the league as far as I know.

How about any midweek between now and May?

If players are self isolating, or more become infected you'll likely have 2 or 3 games off. The possibility of a harsh winter makes it harder to catch up. 

The protocol is, if you have 13 fit including a keeper, you play it. St Mirren were forced to bring in a keeper on an emergency loan earlier in the season, if it cant be fulfilled an investigation will take place as to why Clyde can't manage to field a team. Depending on the outcome, the match will either be played later, or East Fife will be awarded a 3-0 win. 

Playing tomorrow would seem the best option to me.

Could we not just choose 4 East Fife players we don't want to play against us and they could add on a few self isolaters? That would make it even Steven's and the match could go ahead.

Failing that EF could out trump us with 5 Coviders and we could collect the 3 nil 3 points
