Hibernian v St Johnstone

Recommended Posts

Take the point and move on from this clusterfuck.

Hopefully get a stronger starting line up going forward, while also remembering how to defend.

Its like we're allergic to winning.

We either spend 90 minutes refusing to score, or just ship goals every time we're actually leading.

Bizarre.

Lets hope they don’t find a vaccine before Saturday.

Would have taken a point beforehand so a good result, especially with all the enforced changes.  Slightly disappointing to not hold onto the lead twice but still good to see us get a couple of goals.

Our game management needs to improve; we made it far too easy for Hibs to get level after being on top.  I also felt around the time of our second goal we were well on top and Hibs in disarray, with a bit more care with our passing and finishing we could have killed them off.

Melamed looks good, and agree with the commentators that McCann and O'Halloran both had good games.

Fairly entertaining open game, Saints played well overall.

Can't believe you didn't have spoony on from start?

Not been great last couple of games and tend to respond well when dropped/rested as we're seeing here.

Did well when he came on but tbf I haven't seen much of him this season right enough.

Were frustrating to watch every time, feels like we're not far away from being a pretty good team.

Horrible feeling we'll never see this team ever hit full flow before it starts getting taken apart.

Captain B.

I've no doubt that HTD is a dapper young man...

Still, you should have won that - and started the second half with elan.  Shame you couldn't turn pressure to goals.

Crap defending, though.  I forgot that Darren McGregor was still a thing.  He probably shouldn't be based on tonight.

Disappointed not to win having lead but again more positives than negatives. Thought the Hibs subs combined with our change of shape when Wotherspoon came on really opened the game up for saints after a period at the second half where we'd maybe ridden our luck. You felt the goal was coming at 1-1 and there was still opportunities afterwards. For all their attacking ability, Hibs looked really unbalanced once Gogic went off.

Two nothing goals to give away which is disappointing. Maybe Clark can come for the original cross at the second? Kerr will hopefully be back for the weekend.

Good shift from O'Hallaron and McCann excellent again - he's so good at winning the ball back.
