Madara_666
Hello there. Hope someone could help me. These days I 've been sreaching for data of West of Scotland Junior Cup, East of Scotland Junior Cup and North Region Junior cup. (List of Winners) I had some succes in the sreach of the West of Scotland Cup. Neverthless I had poor results in the sreach of the East of Scotland Cup and North Region Cup. I'ld Like to know if someone could provide me a FULL list of champions of those competitions, or know some website where I can look for that data. On the website of some clubs, I could find very useful information, however there are missing data. (for example, I couldn't find any inofrmation as recent as East of Scotland Junior cup winner of 1995, 2008, 2012, 2014; and not mention of some older seasons). Thanks.

sfha
Most of the Junior leagues up to the 1968 restructuring are on the site already, a big omission is of course the East of Scotland junior leagues. These won't be included on the site for the foreseeable future as these have been well covered by Graham McGinty's excellent book, copies of which are still available. I have most of the post 1968 tables and these will be on the site over the coming year. As for the cups, I'm currently compiling pages with winners lists of each county/region's competitions but a lot of research will obviously be required to expand on these to include results of individual ties. I thought in 1978 the cup was won by Aberdeen East End Bon Accord were originally the Bon Accord Glass works team, but then went junior. The owner of Bon Accord Glass was Brian Keith who build Keith Park for the club. Keith became chairman of Montrose and Bon Accord folded. Keith Park got taken over by amateur team Wilson's XI who went junior and are now the club that is now Bridge of Don Thistle (via Hillhead Juniors and Newburgh Thistle...) Keith Park is now the Hillhead Centre where the University play. There was a club called Bon Accord City in the Aberdeenshire amateurs that I believe were formed from the remnants of Bon Accord, but I think they've folded now. I don't know about St Machar, but I would suspect they were related to the school. Perhaps originally an Old Boys' team like Sunnybank and Hermes. Edit: Although off the top of my head, St Machar Academy wasn't built until 1990ish? So that's probably wrong and they might have been Tillydrone/Powis based. sfha
St Machar were originally Inverurie Locos Juveniles, formed in 1955, who took on the St Machar name after the original club, who were called Balgownie Juniors between 1946 and1969, disbanded in 1974. They were subsequently called Inverurie Juniors until they also went defunct in 1999. For a time both clubs played out of Linksfield in Aberdeen. I remember Inverurie Juniors, but didn't realise they were actually distantly related to the Locos. They eventually played out of the Colony Park in Inverurie, now home of the eponymous junior team.
sfha
For the last 30 years or so I've been compiling a spreadsheet that lists 1,000s of senior and junior clubs that have existed since the 1800s http://sfha.org.uk/club-directory.htm
