Clyde v Montrrose

Recommended Posts

People moaning about the defence but our midfield is diabolical.  Can't progress with the ball, don't go with runners.

Oh dear. That was utterly dreadful. How we’ve got in at 1-1 I just don’t know. Montrose dominant for the whole 45 minutes. They should be 2 or 3 up.

A defence that doesn't stop crosses.

A defence that allows unopposed shots and through passes from the edge of the box.

A midfield that allows the opposition to run through them easily

A midfield that cannot retain possession for more than one pass (or touch)

A midfield that creates very little.

Lucky as we are that the scores are even at HT, this may end up a tanking.

That midfield is just unspeakably bad. Always going to be a tough shift against the lads Montrose are playing in there, but they won't control a single game all season and it makes us so vulnerable at either end of the park. Just chuck Bain and Syvertsen on and play a 5-0-5, IMO.

How dare Montrose come to our home with pace, 2 footed players and a cohesive midfield. Their competent defence and bullying of our defence is not welcome.

I like it when we play Thistle, and, eh Thistle.
