Our u21s are poorly managed and under perform against similar nations. How we create any senior players is beyond me given the level we compete at u21. Which is all the stranger given at u17 and u19 we consistently over achieve. We have a relatively small population and our boys are late developers physically (or don't develop at all) which are big disadvantages at this level. We continually struggle to create in the final third and none of the SFA cabal of Mackay, Sbragia, Gemmill or Stark will change that.

Killie to the poorest teams in the Premiership is/was a Scotland to Lithuania level of mismatch, not a Scotland to San Marino one. There are no teams that routinely lose every single match - usually every team in the league gets to at least 25-30ish points.

There were five groups of five teams in Euro 2020 qualifying without ultra diddies and they required 19-14 points to qualify. Tomorrow will show us what he is made of without a shoot out.
