This is actually a really bad result. Talk of winning the group is good but we wanted to be the best ranked winner in group B to have the inside track for world cup qualifying.
Completely changing a winning side has been folly here. Some players needed a rest but dropping Marshall, McTominay and both Jack and McGregor was too much.
Then panic changing the formation half way through the 2nd half to accomodate Oli fucking mcBurnie is another huge mistake.
Way too harsh.

You could argue some of those points if we'd played poorly - but we've generally performed well.

None of us are in any position to talk about selections and players not picked, because we don't know what Thursday took out of them and how they were responding in training.

Eight changes from a team that played 120 minutes on Thursday night, two of which were enforced anyway. There wasn't a noticeable drop-off in quality in the guys who were picked anyway, and the team that we put out was good enough to win and should have won.
