1. This was always going to happen. 

2. McBurnie was always going to start.

3. This ‘B’ team is almost as strong as our ‘A’ team has been in recent years.

4. Clarke knows who he needs to rotate, and who can play again so soon. 

5. The team to play Israel will be very similar to the Serbia game.

McBurnie’s last chance to prove he’s put number two striker. There’s no question Dykes is our number one.

Griffiths and Shankland are both going to get game time today/Wednesday. They’ll want to stake a claim in being next in line. 

Personally, they both offer more than McBurnie, but are quite different players.

I have no issue at all with McBurnie. I don’t think he’s good enough, certainly for what we need from a striker, but I want him to prove us all otherwise.
