HibeeJibee
Being realistic - sitting bottom with nothing but consecutive losses all season: Whitehill's immediate challenge is staying in the EOS Premier Division, nevermind returning to LL. Gala's stand has been shut for over a year, IIRC. It was condemned after some inspection? Now raising funds to restore it? They bought Selkirk's kit stand to provide alternative cover meantime. It is a Grade A listed building. Edited December 13, 2020 by HibeeJibee

It was properly off limits last season. I think the stairways were even boarded up. 3 minutes ago, fowler23 said: Serious question, will players be allowed to use showers after the games??? No showers at any level currently IIRC (even SPFL?). LL and most EOSL have now got access to dressing rooms.

Think you need to be familiar with junior football over the years to see Bonnyrigg Rose vs Bo'ness United as a big game like most people posting on here would and the people making the decisions probably won't be, unfortunately. Agree Berwick vs Stirling might be a dark horse contender given the Scotland vs England angle and Berwick still being recently relegated. Albion Rovers vs Buckie Thistle could also maybe be promoted as the club from the Bucky triangle hosting a teuchter club called Buckie but doubt the TV people would be keen to talk that up and who wants to visit Coatbridge, if they can avoid it? Agree totally bluebell V QP has tele written all over it , hope so as Dundonald a great venue and club

Even on the worst pitches a change of clothes and a bottle of water work miracles. Indeed how many players have taken one look at the shower ‘facilities’ in some away grounds and decided not to bother?

And what has this got to do wi tv fixtures for the Scottish Cup. You just canny help yersel at times.
amigan
With both gala and annan being in tier 1 there would be the opportunity for some fans to attend which definitely helps the spectacle for TV

Stranraer v Spartans is another: Spartans are maybe more of a 'cup name' TV-wise? Fans may also be back at Berwick.

So you will have 18 players pouring bottles of water over themselves in the changing rooms/ in the stand after the game, and cleaning themselves with baby wipes?? Not sure they have to worry about who is playing as cant imagine the viewing figures will be that big no matter who plays.

I don't think it matters too much who plays as the viewing figures for the Friday Night BBC Scotland can fluctuate a fair bit. They certainly don't underpeform when compared to the Championship games. The two all non-league games they showed did better ratings wise than some Championship ties. 20/09/2019 Kelty Hearts v. Falkirk 141,900 I'd have predicted Scottish Cup ties to attract more neutral viewers than routine Championship games, tbh. Cup-ties are one-offs, more exciting, teams you don't normally see on live TV, different leagues squaring-up, chance of "giant killings", etc. Edited December 14, 2020 by HibeeJibee
