Airdrieonians v Clyde

Recommended Posts

No Thomson, with Sabatini and Robert on and we are scoring.

I'll admit I was dreading that today and wondered where the creativity was going to come from but a combination of looking decent and Clyde looking like a lowland league gang has been just the ticket

We are in deep trouble unless we get someone in the middle of the pitch. You can’t lose Grant, McStay and Rankin and not replace them and expect to be competitive.

We hired two people during the closed season, one specifically for player recruitment, and we have ended up with this. Unacceptable.

Whilst the pandemic was a financial issue that no-one could have foreseen, our issue this season was always going to be the fact we've inexplicably run up a ridiculous loss despite multiple strokes of luck in terms of attendance figures and a Celtic cup draw. Hence us scrabbling around signing kids on loan to compliment our two-year contracted League 2 jobbers like Cuddihy, Rumsby and Johnston.

The only positive about this team is we won't have to play Queen's Park on their way to the Champions League.

Airdrie's co-commentator likes Chris Johnston? You're welcome to have him, no charge.
