I'd rather we were relegated than continue reading this thread.

Can we have this in writing and on an official club letterhead please, then we can just bin the rest of this useless farce of a season.

Nah but there is a very good chance that Morton will disappear into the seaside leagues for a few seasons.

We'll have to defer to the experts on that, having been relegated by a team that went on to collect *four points* from 108 in the second tier.

Thought I would post this here because it's far more relevant than the utter drivel that's been spouted over the past few days.

The pass and run are both ridiculously good here and it's one of those goals that's so well worked from an attacking perspective that you look like you're too bitter to acknowledge that if you say anything about the defending.

However, as superb as the pass, run, first touch and finish all are, just look at Cameron Blues on the edge of the D. He has absolutely no awareness of what's going on around him, he's just ball watching and it's him being switched off that creates the space for Matthews to make the run and Hendry to play the pass - for all that most players at this level wouldn't pull it off - which leaves the rest of the team powerless to do anything once Matthews gets it.

If you're sitting that deep then even with 11 men you need every player to be working hard and doing their job, you can't be carrying passengers like that. A complete spectator.

I've just realised that blues is our top league goalscorer (with 2).  Good grief, that's embarrassing.  Especially when Lyon and Colville have had practically no game time this season.

To be pedantic, he’s our top scorer in all competitions with two and one of four players with one in the league.

The gap between the central defenders is also far too wide and they're not even close to being in line with each other. That shouldn't take away from the ability needed to exploit that opening but there are major defensive failures that make that path to goal possible.

True, McLean might have passed his man to Fjortoft earlier, closing that gap. McGinty's also doing nothing, but he's at least where he's supposed to be. Doesn't change the fact that Blues sells them out completely (and, from his reaction, knows it)...

Just hoping no one sticks up a clip of the third goal...

My mistake - I was thinking he scored against Alloa but I'm maybe mixing him up with Salkeld.
