Jorg Albertz
Felt Hearts deserved that but got to credit Celtic for getting the job done. The St.Mirren defeat for us shows just how hard cup football is. So hats off to them for doing what they've done. Still papering over cracks though...

Greenlantern
So Celtic fans are playing up this 'achievement' by highlighting how the hideously skewed finances we now have in football, have buggered up other countries a bit too? Aye, ok lads. You must feel such pride.Hey Monkey, hope you’re feeling some festive cheer at this time of the year. Talking down Celtic’s achievements is cool if that’s your agenda. Also, talking down Scottish football as some backwater Mickey Mouse league is fine if that’s your agenda. Have you ever considered a role in Sky Sports broadcasting?

Have you ever considered a role in Sky Sports broadcasting? I'm not talking Scottish football down at all. In fact, I'm not even talking down Celtic's achievement either. I'm simply failing to recognise one. Merry Christmas.
TheScarf
I don't think it's hyperbole to say Celtic's 16/17 team is the 2nd best Celtic team ever just in behind the 66/67 Lisbon Lions team.
topcat(The most tip top)
It is funny how our beloved pundits say Hearts are really a Premiership side with the players they have , etc but when they lose to Celtoic on penalties they are back to being a Championship side Hopefully everyone can reach a consensus on this before the end of the championship season so Hearts fans know how to react should this team justify it’s current status as 1/12 favourites If we’re basically a premiership side then it’ll be quiet satisfaction at job well done and maybe some Prosecco If on the other hand we’ve really got a championship side and are on a level playing field with Raith and Alloa then champagne and gloating that Hearts “wanted it more” than Ayr or that Morton didn’t have a “winning mentality” and generally being an obnoxious tosser would be in order. Personally I’d be more comfortable with the former but could probably bluff it if the consensus comes down the other way

Romeo
Who's saying they're not bothered? I'm very bothered by it, because sport is best when it's not thoroughly predictable and when success is varied. This infantile idea that to be bothered is somehow weak, so it should be denied, is just weird, but remarkably prevalent on here. "At least you're not bothered" is as witless a post as it is a common one."very bothered"

NotThePars
I think sports radio is one of the most underrated parts of watching sports for a variety of reasons but one that comes to mind is you get to listen to fans trying to work shit out and shift the goalposts in real time so that they’re never owned.Enjoying this Celtic fan going against 9 seasons of revelling in Rangers downfall as they clinch 10iar to insist that actually what they accomplished on Sunday was the true achievement every Celtic fan wanted.

A shame that their old friends from Gibraltar Lincoln Red Imps have went one better.
