Edinburgh City v Elgin City

Recommended Posts

Might as well look forward to the weekend ahead and see what people think?

Edinburgh started brilliantly with 5 goals in the opening game and then came up against a tough Cowdenbeath team who held out for a 1-0 victory.  Now on to Saturday and Elgin City who sit top of the table.  Not sure what to expect to be honest but have a feeling Edinburgh will be up for this and re-organised.  I will go for a 3-2 home win but football seems difficult to predict this season.

Two good teams for this division.  It will be a tough battle.

Both teams beat Brechin (Big deal, every team will beat Brechin!)  but  Elgin's win away at Stranraer was probably the most impressive result so far.

For sure, if the same Edinburgh City turns up as last weekend,  then Elgin will win.

Terrible second half. Yes the wind was ridiculous but we were extremely sloppy playing out from the back, rushed at times and casual at others. Thought both centre halves were poor. We had some brilliant chances but still think a one goal margin is an accurate reflection, albeit it could've been much higher scoring in the first half alone. Frustrating but not disastrous.

Eta. Between Osadolar last week and Hester this that's two open goals missed from a total of about 5 yards.
