Totally agree. I think it's well known that he's partly of Scottish descent - the golf resorts etc, but I think plenty won't realise you only need to go back as far as his mum. As people have said, Americans often make much of where they're 'from', even if it's from a distance of four or five generations. In Trump's case, his Scottishness is far more immediate, but it's not something that's played on much at all here.
