You may well be right but that description could pertain to people on here whom the majority would be delighted to be pals with, certainly if what is written off as laddish antics is anything to go by.

Another thread on here discusses mental health and has posters expressing their disgust as to why more hasn't been done to improve it, but along with that frustration is a grave misunderstanding as to why in truth the situation is so bad.

This thread typifies it. Bullying, gloating and snide which is all too common in society from those who don't think for one second about their actions and no doubt behave the same way offline, therefore sustaining a toxic culture and making people's lives hell.

I'm certain that the timing of events in this election has lead to a narrative that's completely wrong. Biden is heading for a 306-232 electoral college victory - coincidentally, an exact reverse of Trump's result in 2016 - and a popular vote win of over 5 million. If that result had just dropped at once Democrats would have been marching into Washington like conquering heroes.

Bit of a fear about all these military votes getting counted, not sure if I'm fully confidant about the Military Times poll given that the other pollsters have been a fair bit out.

This is the most nauseating, pathetic attempt to invoke sympathy for a terrible shit imaginable. Presumably because you're on that side of the fence. Sometimes the bad guys really are the bad guys and they need to be treated like that. Or do you think my grandfather went over the top when they attacked poor, misunderstood Germans? It might have disturbed their mental health, after all.

Trump took kids from their parents because they were foreigners, and kept them in literal cages. You know as well as I do that anyone could write paragraphs about what a terrible b*****d he was, but let's just leave it at the child-stealing. It's enough on its own.

With regard to suicide, my only regret is that he didn't blow his brains out before becoming President.

No, and a serving member from New York may well be different to one from Georgia. If the cash-out starts to drop from where it is I'm taking it.
