Next up, Hearts a week on Tuesday. This result means the hot potato cannot now end up at either Palmerston or Dens.* *Assumes play-off matches don’t count. johnnydun
Morten hold on to the Hot Potato going into the final 2 games. Could the dream come true... Next up, Alloa on Saturday.
Trogdor
The only bit of good news for us is that we won't be winning the Hot Potato. However, at the expense of our league status I think I'd rather have the potato.
TxRover
And the Lord spake to the Scottish Championship, “Lo, unto you I have given a golden hot potato, and the holder of such shall likely be relegated at the end of this pestilential season”, and the people feasted and rejoiced. johnnydun
CHAMPIONSHIP HOT POTATO WINNERS GREENOCK MORTEN! Congratulations to Morten, the @Toby sponsored Championship Hot Potato thread has been a whirlwind of emotion throughout. I thank you all for your support. As much as Morten fans dislike my patter and as much as I dislike Morten, I wish them all the best in the play off as we come together against a greater evil, the possibility of Falkirk FC's promotion. Enjoy your night lads.

Odds on that one are exceedingly small, as they seem primed for fifth!
Trogdor
Ayr held that potato for dear life for far too long this season. It seems it was the only trophy Mark Kerr was interesting in claiming, so the board acted and he go the boot. Only to appoint a manager who resembled the hot potato, but we promptly got rid of it and never looked back. I also wish Morton all the best. I'd rather them than Falkirk, Airdrie or Cove.
