Aberdeen v Celtic

Recommended Posts

“I can see why he’s given it” - because it was a clear fucking penalty Walker you moron.

Good performance defensively so far, Celtic have done nothing bar long shots and hopeful crosses. Expect this will change in the second half but pleased with the first half.

As has been mentioned, Watkins has been a great outball and Hayes has done well defensively. Taylor remains awful on the ball but has done some decent defensive work.

Also, can Sky get some pundits who aren’t thick as f**k west coast wanks please? Thank you.

Watkins' pass was great but the space left by Duffy to mark Hedges really invited it. I don't think you can blame Duffy though as it was a choice between letting Hedges run at you or expecting a midfielder to actually do his job.

We've been very disciplined defensively. Bit less disciplined with the ball, but we're winning. Watkins has been terrific and Hayes is playing Frimpong very well.

Yip. Makes a massive difference when you don't continually clear your lines. Taking a load of pressure off the team.

f**k Scott Bain and his snoods

Hes not the best but Knowing how much Bain still absolutely rattles Dundee fans is warming.  Especially as they possibly  have the worst full time goalkeeper in Scottish football. Hearing Paul Mcgowans story on si ferrys podcast about Niall Mccann shiteting it from Bain is also rather funny.

On another point, this narrative that BBC Scotland are pushing that this is a ‘smash and grab’, and against the run of play is rather perplexing. Celtic passing the ball about the half way line between their defenders is not dominating the game - it’s them playing exactly where we want them to. We know they’re going to have more of the ball than we will.

Aye. Clearly letting Duffy get on the ball where possible.
