Tight minge
I wasn't 'bleating on' or 'trolling'. Not quite sure why you have such a belligerent attitude. This is a thread to discuss the teacher who was beheaded in France, and three people were murdered yesterday, so I am not sure why you presume me commenting on Islam, or my experiences debating Muslims, as either. Why wouldn't I debate with people of other faiths? Of course they can have a different opinion, but given that they believe in a gad, I'm interested to know why they believe Mohammed would be chosen as the final messenger. You should, too - Islam is growing rapidly in this country, and depending how old you are may well end up impacting your life in why way or another. [emoji4] Glad you enter into things with an open mind. Your last sentence, a few face palms in that one! ETA: Oh, gone on then. Just for the chuckles. Do tell me why I, as an individual, should be concerned about the growth of Islam in the UK and specifically how Islam is going to impact my life in the future (I assume negatively).

I do appreciate that, given their esteem, such people may refrain from recording less flattering information and embellish other things, but the same could be said about kings and emperors. Why someone would lie about the details I have mentioned is unclear. The koran was written a couple of hundred years after Mohammed and there are no contemporaneous records of him. Much like the new testament and jc. Which i've just realised you probably also think is a historical document. But they're all just stories. Maybe with some historical basis, but still just stories.

Hell of a sentence here. "They talk about freedom of expression, but I question what freedom of expression has to do with an RE lesson," he said.

The man doesn't believe in freedom of expression and should just say so. It's pretty clear from the reaction that this is going to result in a firing. One of the men quoted in that article (the Purpose of Life charity) has also publically named the teacher in an open letter published yesterday. I'm not linking it, but it's still on their twitter page.

My RE teacher ran some AV club back in the day and used to film the local school show and sell it to the parents and pupils, he used to use VHS tapes and record over them, he was also into gay porn and accidentally didn't tape over one properly and sold a porno to a school kid..

Dundee Hibernian
2021, and people are still employed in education to present fairy tales as lessons. Beside being a waste of time, it's quite wrong that money should be squandered in such a manner when we're led to believe there isn't enough cash going around to deal with poverty.
