While Arkansas has no requirement to retreat, answering the door negates any claim unless the other party acts as noted above. Verbal assault doesn’t count, as words cannot hurt him, in this case. 2) Legality of discharging a weapon will depend on the municipality or county laws and depends based upon perception of threat. 3) Boogie will have issues proving “threat” because the behavior of the other YT’er was similar to other events of this style where no physical actions occurred, however... 4) Given the range of threats and that Boogie was blamed for the other party being kicked off YT, he might be able to. 5) It isn’t against the law to go to a person’s front door and ring their doorbell.
