Youtube Gun Incident

Several points:

1) Castle doctrine won’t apply as the “trespasser” is not attempting to attack the individual or enter the premises. While Arkansas has no requirement to retreat, answering the door negates any claim unless the other party acts as noted above. Verbal assault doesn’t count, as words cannot hurt him, in this case.

2) Legality of discharging a weapon will depend on the municipality or county laws and depends based upon perception of threat.

3) Boogie will have issues proving “threat” because the behavior of the other YT’er was similar to other events of this style where no physical actions occurred, however...

4) Given the range of threats and that Boogie was blamed for the other party being kicked off YT, he might be able to.

5) It isn’t against the law to go to a person’s front door and ring their doorbell. Boogie’s choice to answer reduces his defense.

6) Trespass isn’t a factor here as no restraining order was present and no posting is reported at the house.

7) Boogie is seriously lucky his shot didn’t land somewhere and hurt someone!

If a YouTuber comes to my door can I shoot him in the groin and saw his head off? That’s the main question here.

I love the saying "real talk". Pretty sure it stems from watching this video:
