HibeeJibee
Craigroyston surely result of the day; transformed from last campaign. Leith also impressive win. gaz5
Why do you think that? Maybe access to peffermill limited. Can't speak for Leith mate, no idea why they are off. Is it a council facility? All of our council run ones are closed for two weeks for this shutdown, maybe peffermill the same.My comment was more related to us, but that will be confirmed tomorrow once we hear a definitive answer from test and trace. Their initial feedback would see us off for 2 weeks.

Edinburgh Uni facility. Very good 4G/5G surface, or whatever it is.

HibeeJibee
Kennoway Star move top after a 'goal fest' at the Fleet. Dunipace bounce back emphatically. Coldstream and Haddington couldn't find wins on the night they hanselled their floodlighting. Their LL side get next to no funds from Edinburgh Uni. They can't give boys signing fees, expenses etc. Crazy stuff. Played one game for them against Aberdeen Uni who weren't the greatest.
HibeeJibee
Myself and about 60 others saw Tweedmouth 0-5 Thornton streamed from Shielfield Park. Scoreline maybe slightly harsh on the hosts whose 'keeper had a heroic first half but visitors are well deserving of a comfortable win. Kennoway Star's loss at Paties Road means Thornton and Edinburgh Utd move clear atop, with resurgent Craigroyston and Haddington close on their tails. Arniston Rangers 1-5 Haddington Athletic Coldstream 2-1 Dalkeith Thistle Dunipace 1-2 Leith Athletic Edinburgh South 2-0 St Andrews United Edinburgh United 1-0 Kennoway Star Hearts Kirkcaldy & Dysart 0-2 Craigroyston Ormiston 2-1 Rosyth Tweedmouth Rangers 0-5 Thornton Hibs Saturday 24th October Craigroyston v Arniston Rangers Dalkeith Thistle v Tweedmouth Rangers Haddington Athletic v Edinburgh South Kennoway Star Hearts v Dunipace Leith Athletic v Kirkcaldy & Dysart Rosyth v Coldstream St Andrews United v Edinburgh United (Ormiston, Thornton = South Challenge Cup R1)

HibeeJibee
Kennoway Star v Dunipace a washout. Craigroyston were held by Arniston, Dalkeith got their first win of the season, Haddington continued their strong start, St Andrews ended Edinburgh Utd's 100% record. KD and Tweedmouth still 'pointless'. Haddington move top. There were a couple of clubs in cup action. HibeeJibee
No games lost to weather. Hard fought encounters saw points shared at Dunipace and Haddington who remain top. Scores went to form otherwise but a creditable away win for Arniston. HibeeJibee
Arniston v Leith washed-out. Haddington and Edinburgh Utd won impressively... Coldstream and Dunipace bounced-back... HibeeJibee
Haddington v Coldstream and Tweedmouth v Ormiston tomorrow have been replaced with Haddington v Ormiston. EDIT: Hopefully future weeks shouldn't be affected. English-based players ability to participate now looks like extending to playing games in Berwick-upon-Tweed: https://berwickrangers.com/club-granted-permission-to-continue-at-shielfield-park/ https://www.facebook.com/113939345440257/posts/2606968259470674/ Edited November 6, 2020 by HibeeJibee
HibeeJibee
Arniston game was reversed to Rosyth due to pitch conditions. What may prove an important day in Conference A saw Haddington remain top after grinding out a close win in a hastily-arranged East Lothian derby. Rosyth moved imperiously into 2nd with a crushing dispatch of Arniston. Thornton fought back to win at St Andrews while Leith continued their ascent - only they now and Luncarty have 100% records throughout EOS League. Wins for Edinburgh South and Dalkeith saw both continue their march. Craigroyston 2-3 Edinburgh South Dalkeith Thistle 2-1 Dunipace Haddington Athletic 2-1 Ormiston Kennoway Star Hearts 2-0 Kirkcaldy & Dysart Leith Athletic 2-0 Edinburgh United Rosyth 7-0 Arniston Rangers St Andrews United 1-2 Thornton Hibs So where do we find matters with the first quarter of the league campaign complete? Haddington lead, but remarkably 6 more clubs all within 5pts. Rosyth, Thornton, Edinburgh Utd, Leith, Kennoway Star and Edinburgh South occupy the other safe First Division places. Tuesday 10th November Edinburgh South v Arniston Rangers Saturday 14th November Coldstream v Ormiston Dalkeith Thistle v Rosyth Dunipace v Arniston Rangers Edinburgh United v Craigroyston Haddington Athletic v Tweedmouth Rangers Leith Athletic v Edinburgh South St Andrews United v Kirkcaldy & Dysart Thornton Hibs v Kennoway Star Hearts Edited November 7, 2020 by HibeeJibee
