Tranent drop points again - but with others not playing or capitalising it extends their lead. Sauchie result of the day beating Broxburn. There is an obvious 'bottom 3' now, with Crossgates + Dunbar straddling gap between dangerzone and mid-table pack.

Blackburn United 1-2 Dundonald Bluebell
Crossgates Primrose 1-4 Camelon
Hill of Beath Hawthorn 2-0 Whitehill Welfare
Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts 0-1 Dunbar United
Linlithgow Rose 2-1 Newtongrange Star
Sauchie 2-0 Broxburn Athletic
Tynecastle 0-0 Tranent

On paper, I agree with you, but I genuinely hope it doesn’t leave Dunbar in a worse place afterwords!

Think I read that with John coming in, a first team coach left the club. Not sure if he left due to the arrival of John or not. Also, if and I hope Geoff does return to the club, it may put extra pressure on him with John there! Again I may be well off mark!

As an East Lothian club I want to see Dunbar remain in the Premier league so hope the move is a positive one!!

Broxburn have made a good job of throwing away results this week. Having led 3-1 at LTHV with 5mins left they managed to draw 3-3. Having led 3-0 at home to Crossgates today they lost 5-4. That rockets Primrose out of the relegation places.

Maligned and scorned over the opening weeks Linlithgow now go 3rd, with 1 game-in-hand.

Camelon also climb demolishing Inverkeithing.

Penicuik themselves are beginning to make moves on upper reaches.

(Tue) Penicuik Athletic 3-2 Musselburgh Athletic
(Wed) Lothian Thistle HV 3-3 Broxburn Athletic

Broxburn Athletic 4-5 Crossgates Primrose
Camelon 6-2 Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts
Dunbar United 0-3 Linlithgow Rose
Dundonald Bluebll P-P Musselburgh Athletic
Hill of Beath Hawthorn P-P Penicuik Athletic
Newtongrange Star P-P Blackburn United
Sauchie P-P Tynecastle
Tranent P-P Jeanfield Swifts
Whitehill Welfare P-P Lothian Thistle HV

I know pal and they’ll all take points off each other as the season rolls on I’d imagine. Looks like the EOS Prem is much the same. No runaway leaders yet.  #ABL

What on earth has happened to Broxburn these last weeks?

Watched today’s Broxburn game from behind fence. They somehow managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Whilst at 3-0 up, it didn’t really reflect the score. However, they got caught massively in the 2nd half, with Crossgates even missing a penalty. Cracking game to watch, but Broxburn must be kicking themselves.
