Apparently Lennon's training sessions are a joke.  Just a lot of running mainly.

50 laps round the pitch then a cauld shower afterwards. Nae need for this modern tactical malarkey.

Not too far from the truth by one account I've heard.

Turns out allowing Neil Lennon to rebuild your club is a bad idea.

From slick, dominant football, with the best in analysis/footballing science, to Lennon sticking 11 players on the park and shouting at them to "fight more" when its going wrong.

All of Rodgers work undone.

He's a dinosaur. Persisting with 3-5-2 is a joke.

Its been claimed since he came in that the majority of non-Scottish players have started having extra sessions with personal trainers throughout the week.

Yeah, these things dont happen overnight but you are seeing more and more of that disappearing over the horizon the longer Lennon is there. Its almost gone tbh. They lucked out with the bottle crash last season. I'm not convinced that happens again this season. To win the league Celtic will need to earn it and they dont currently look like they have it in them.

Specially when it appears that Gerrard is starting to absolutely have Lennons number in the head to heads. Even the LC final last season was pure Rangers domination (which made the hilarity more tbh)

Their fans blame Greg Taylor for everything. Lennon is immune from criticism.

I noticed Greg Taylor was trending on The Twitter on deadline day and I assumed he was injured or leaving. It was just Celtic fans crying about how bad he is.

Laxalt looks good though.

Would apologists of Neil Lennon please remind the rest of us why he was jettisoned the first time around?  It couldn’t possibly have been because he had taken the club as far as he could, and was out-managed every time he tried to take the club further?  Or could it have been that he lacked the nous to radically alter games in which they were being outplayed?  Or was it that his football had become stale and somewhat predictable?

Edit: Billy Dodds is dishing out the telts on the radio right now.  Billy Dodds.

Did he not walk? I don’t think they got rid. Their board love him because he’s cheap, and won’t kick up a fuss with them.
