He inherited a group of Conference X players, not good enough for the Premier. Hope he stays on and builds his own team

Thats a fairly poor comment considering the amount of players signed and the number of weeks they have had a run at playing under JH, I would consider the Points Per Game and get back to us on how the old team played and the new team plus your so called inherited duds have done, the logic makes no sense at all, the fact is the new manager has got a worse record with his own players and the best of the so called in inherited players.

We can only guess if  the previous management would have gained more points per game over the past 15 games but make no mistake here the new management hasn't improved anything results wise with his own players and the best of the inherited.

The numbers don't lie but the excuses do

Game over man, game over.

Harvey has to go. No excuses.

Fans have already voted with their feet and they'll not be back until the committee has the balls to make the change.

He's signed more than an entire starting XIs worth and results have got worse. You get whats available is such a facile excuse! HoB earlier in the season were by far the worst team I've seen in the Superleague this year but they changed manager and brought in some players and now have a real chance of staying up - they were night and day this afternoon compared to earlier in the season. Camelon changed their manager, brought in plenty of players, have taken 11 points out of the last 81 and were this afternoon relegated.

Its clearly not been good enough.

Are you as a committee member of Camelon Juniors saying that he'll still be in charge next season?

People seem to forget Camelon had no players at the start of the season, not one signed player, so to even get a team on the park for the first game was an achievement in its self, Jack Simpson, Euan Baird both top top players got horrific season ending injuries. Both these players could never be replaced, the secretary stated that the previous manager got no support from them, experienced players were spoken to but didn't want to come near the club due to what went on. Harvey has no excuse.

Where isAlan the Camelon man gone to? Been a disastrous league campaign this season for this club. Used to be a solid team. Wonder if Camelon (and Nitten) will be confident that they can regroup in the close season and have a side who can strike at the first attempt at promotion from the newly formed 1st division.

What happened with the likes of MacIsaac, Goss, Simpson etc? Were they just trapdoored?

Seems absolutely wild that the club has essentially been through three entire squads since Herdy and Muscles left.

Harvey just hasn't worked so far, but whilst it's true he's signed a full team of players they're clearly dross that was available at short notice. It could be the case that in the summer he'll have a much broader sample of players to choose from. Punting him is surely a bit premature, especially after such an intense period of upheval.

Think you'll find he's also yessirIcanboogie86. Bit like Bo'ness United this season when a club is in a rebuilding mode there's always a danger of a dip in form. Not sure what fans think they achieve by staying away under these circumstances. Less revenue through the gate = less money for the team budget = takes longer before club bounces back.

  • 2 weeks later...

Having followed Berwick the season JH was in charge, i can tell you right now that it doesn't matter how good your playing squad is, if they don't respect the manager then you'll soon find yourself in an extremely difficult position.

Now, to be honest, i am not in the know enough to say that this is whats happened at Camelon, but there are an awful lot of similarities. once the dressing room has been lost, Its not an easy thing to regain.

Is this a roundabout way to tell us that Harvey is on his way oot?
