stanton
A bit to close for comfort for my liking. But it's still a win
Zing.
Really should’ve been a lot more comfortable in the end but we got there. Nisbet is a great signing. Edited October 2, 2020 by Zing.
BawWatchin
Deserved win. Disappointing to give away 2 penalties and an own goal. Hamilton never really looked like scoring from open play. Well done to Boaby Madyin for being a strong enough referee.

The previous 'triple-punishment' rule required a red card - and therefore a suspension - as well as the award of a penalty under those circumstances. However, players committing accidental fouls that deny a goalscoring chance will now be cautioned instead. But deliberate fouls will still incur a red card."

YER SISTERS YER MAW
In the refs opinion. FFS, we gave you 2 penalties and an og, what more do you need????I doubt any player means to give away a penalty on purpose, so you'd expect 99% of penalties to be classed as accidental fouls then if that's the case. Stupid rule.

Maybe 99% of fouls in the penalty area don't warrant a red card, then, yah? The penalty and possible booking is punishment enough. Alan Stubbs
Can’t believe I was nervous at the end of that. Should’ve kicked on from half time and got another 6-0 or something.

Ludo*1
How was Gourlay? Reads like he flogged a couple of the goals but also sounded like he was making save after save and was on a hiding to nothing?

Les Cabbage
20 points from 10 games is absolutely class btw, was probably in a minority but wasn’t convinced by Jack Ross and the performances overall haven’t been as good as I would like but if we keep picking up points and carrying on like this there’s a really could chance we could challenge Aberdeen. £250k Down the drain Kevin Nisbet Scores again
yummy fur
I thought it probably was a red card and based on the penalties Motherwell give away on Sunday I think we probably should have had a 3rd penalty for handball, however given how poor we were against Kilmarnock's 10 men and how much we were outclassed for 80 minutes tonight it's difficult to feel too hard done by. The first 45 minutes were brutal and sum up most of Rice's Accies managerial career - no consistency in selection, no ideas, no identity, no threat, no press. The second 45 minutes were an improvement and mostly due to Ogkmboe looking like a proper player again for the first time this season (maybe Gogic was coaching him) holding the ball up well, running channels and getting us up the pitch. I see he's getting hammered on Twitter for the penalty miss but Oggy is our best striker and if he keeps that level of performance should be a starter every week. On 70 minutes Rice had another moment of inspiration and realised that if you want to score goals then pace and width are quite important - Smith and Tunde came on and suddenly we looked capable of scoring (helped by removing Scott Martin a player who is playing 2 divisions above his level). We got away without the heavy defeat that our performance deserved tonight, will Rice learn from it - probably not.
