His theory posits that a lot of the players came from small villages that would be visited by the taxman every few years or so. If kids were under a certain age they wouldn't have to pay any tax to the authorities, so when the taxman pointed at say a 7 year-old kid and asked how old he was, the parents would say 3 or 4 and they wouldn't have to pay the tax. Interesting post match clip from then Swindon Boss Lou Macari and how things have changed in the game with regards to abuse. Recall Kamara received quite a lengthy ban for his reaction. Alex Mcleish had voiced his opinion that Gillhaus should not play having turned up late, and if the Dutch man did play he would not. Alex Smith did start Gillhaus so Mcleish was omitted from the side due to" an injury picked up in the warm up" officially.
