The 'yer da' element of your support

Key characteristics of a Dons da:

- Thinks that impostors such as Tommy Wright should be given more minutes because "he's a big lad who puts himself about a bit", overlooking the fact that he is clearly the worst player ever to pull on a red shirt, and that his apparent physicality is essentially just him attempting to kick the opponent to whom he has just ceded possession.

Similar ‘he’s the only one who puts the effort in, could do with more with his work rate’. Any player who is constantly 20 yards out of position and is just running aimlessly around.

We also have the spoilt brat element (age usually 23 and below) who seem to absolutely loathe Derek McInnes to a man

Some Dons fans are mental. My brother wants to replace McInnes with John Hughes. I didn’t know how to respond to him.

There's a substantial amount of "da's" on this site who, if you post anything statistical at all, will have a complete meltdown and start following you around the forum demanding you "get a life", rather than, you know, just ignoring it.

At Edinburgh City, as is quite common with other wee clubs, there are actual players' dads who would qualify.

There is Martin who's been around for ever..

There is @Tenkay who is nominated for posting dad jokes on this forum :P

But the "yer da" element of the City support is probably, err, me.

You'd know all about following people around the forum, Junior.
