Utterly dominant from SJFC. The Paisley Saints look to be a pale shade of the team they were last season.

Some really lovely football today and it's just a shame that we can't finish.

On the one hand we look dangerous and capable of pulling defences all over the place and on the other we look like we're constantly trying to find ways to not actually score.

It was almost a mirror image of the first game at St. Mirren park last season where we dispatched a completely devoid and toothless St. Johnstone team with unusual ease and Saintees fans were on here lamenting their side's lack of....well, everything.

I honestly don't think that outwith games vs the arsecheeks, I've seen us letting an opposition side bully, dictate and carve out chances as frequently as yesterday. For all we were shite, St. Johnstone were very good apart from finishing. The lad McNamara in particular looks an excellent find.

This game won't define our season hopefully and the break has come at a good time to hopefully push a few players that wee bit closer to fitness and let new faces bed in further.

.MOH and Hendry have qualities, but I don't think either are out and out goalscorers (as ridiculous as that sounds with Hendrys goal record).

"Hendrys goal record" of 0 this season and 9 in 46 games overall? What a superstar.

He was scoring a goal every 93 minutes last season.

"Certainly, these two sides were evenly-matched on Saturday."

The BBC really are incredible. The full match was shown on the BBC, yet the reporter seems to have not watched the match.

Sure, although linking the WAP twitter feed is as "balanced" as linking the B&WA twitter feed... ;)

On a side note, it's got to be a bit embarrassing for them considering WAP is now known for an entirely different definition.

Truly awful performance from Saints yesterday.

Shows we need proper cover at centre back, as not only did we miss Shaunessy there, the loss of Foley from the midfield was huge.

Given how we’e played so far this season, I really didn’t see that performance coming.

There seem to be more farmers on here than ever went to actual games!!

Mental that folk are liking this and thinking it's funny.

It's copy and paste Dad patter that's repeated every bloody week.

St. Mirren hardly have what we should consider as impressive crowds either.
