Surely better to come from both.

Thats the first time we've been able to field a full bench, if it helps you understand why we've "struggled" so far.

Blame fully lies with Goodwin for this, pretty sure he said in the summer a lesson learnt from last year was giving teams too much respect. The line up looks as attacking as possible yet Goodwin made it so defensive. To set up that way against a team who went on to have a 4% conversion rate is inexcusable. In his post match spiel Goodwin should lambast himself only. That was such an abject performance.

Was a lot to like about St Mirren last season when we played them but they were very much set up to stop the opposition. Outside of Celtic, I doubt there was a harder working team in the league.

Quick, sharp, accurate passing and they just couldn't live with us today though. A performance that will hopefully give everyone a good shot of confidence.

Reading the comments on the BBC he put it on the team.

Please don’t bring us down to your level. We played fine, and looked like a team several divisions above that dross that you lads had playing for you today.

I’m guessing most of your first team squad are out injured just now??

By that do you mean missing endless chances which a half decent team would've put away? You were shite and we were worse.

Terrible performance from us today only pass marks for Alnwick and tait. Set up pretty attacking but the players just didn’t perform at all. Started decent keeping possession till McCarthy got caught a few times then from there st Johnstone completely dominated the game. Deserved nothing from that game.
