Interesting to note Stade de Reims return to European football for the first time in 57 years which I assume is the longest gap ever.

Stuck the Barry Town game on in the background and thought the picture had gone. It seems it's an absolute whiteout with the fog but the ref is playing on...never seen anything like it since Livi played Clyde in the cup. The game was called off twice due to fog.

Don't remind me. Did you not pump us when it actually went ahead? Thankfully I had learned my lesson and stayed in the house.

We drew at the third attempt to take it to a replay. I think it was postponed AGAIN at Livi due to frozen pitch and then we won 7-1 i think. I did enjoy the Clyde announcer playing Fog on the Tyne and When Will I See You Again during one of the fog breaks though

Pretty sure they're the only games ever to be called off due to fog at Broadwood, which is fairly remarkable. We got an absolute chasing in each of the games, which wasn't remarkable that season.

I think I was at the draw as well. Think the first game lasted something like 60 minutes with every single person in the crowd (the whole 50 of us) begging the ref to call it off.

I was very likely oot my tits on the old tonic so my memory may be off.

Hibs played Runavik at the same stadium a couple of years ago and it was exactly the same. They ended up winning 6-3 and you could barely see any of the goals going in.

Due to the fact that the Prishtina game against Lincoln red imps was postponed after 8 of the Kosovan team tested positive for the virus, uefa have told Prishtina that they can sign any players from their home league on a one game only basis in order to get the game played. Prishtina are currently hiring the best players in the country. Imps are a wee bit upset.. 😂😂

Is that not the complete opposite of the precedent set when Linfield were given a bye in the Champions League or is there more to this?

It's looking like a good night for the Welsh teams. Bala Town won 1-0 in Valetta and TNS are currently pumping Zilina in extra time.
Thats a stonker of a result for TNS. Easily their best result in Europe ever.

Coleraine win.

I take it Slovenia are now the laughing stock of Europe?

Just behind Iceland I would say.

I only saw extra time but Maribor offered virtually nothing in terms of breaking down the Coleraine defence. I had forgotten Kearney was their manager.

Kearney is a really excellent manager.

It's a shame he worked his ticket so shamelessly to get back over the water as most St. Mirren fans were gutted to see him go at the time. Pleased for him getting a big win though, bigger clubs will take notice of the job he's doing there though and may take a punt on him not being as flaky and non-committal next time around!

Result of the round is TNS seeing off Žilina of Slovakia in what is easily the club's best ever European result. Other standouts are Coleraine beating Maribor of Slovenia, Moldovans Sfântul Gheorghe beating Shakthyor Soligorsk of Belarus, Maltese Hibernians beating Vaduz of Liechenstein/Swiss top flight & Albanians Teuta beating Israelis Beitar Jerusalem. Can't imagine La Familia being too pleased at getting papped out by a team from a muslim country.
