Dont get the Solskjaer hate.

He out out a team with enough players to win the game

But his game changing players didnt turn up; Pogba, Fernandes, Greenwood, Rashford, De Gea

Cavani and McTominay the only players to play well. Thats not on the manager. Thats on the players.

The lack of subs was baffling though.

How can Spanish teams have won 8 finals in a row against English teams? La Liga is shite in comparison to the Premier League, or so they've told us all night.

I saw a stat that said Spanish clubs now were on a streak of 16 wins in finals against non-spanish opposition.

Does that mean St.Johnstone are guaranteed group stage football.

Nobody knows.

Find out either tomorrow or Friday when UEFA have some meeting and confirm where everyone sits in terms of European competitions. Genuinely seems like they're still working out the new competition themselves just now.

You see most keepers out in the face of the penalty taker to intimidate him before going back to the line.

De Gea did it once, and it looked Jimmy Krankie trying to intimidate Russell Crowe.

Aye. I was under the impression that Villarreal winning was bad for St Johnstone because they jumped from the Conference to the CL and therefore pushing St Johnstone down but apparently it is more complicated than that.
