First Round draw made. Not a great draw, Newport v Swansea seems the most interesting tie. Maybe Crawley v Millwall. Harrogate's competition debut will be at Tranmere. First Round due for Saturday 5th September, but matches could be rearranged to make room for International call-ups.

No need to rest him before they've played a game, could treat it as a pre season game like some of our teams do with the league cup

Not sure how true this is but Lancashire telegraph reported the other day that these matches could be used to trial a return of supporters to some extent (half full stadiums at the most I think).

If allowed, despite reduced capacity, it could still be Blackburns best attended R1 home tie in the Carabao Cup for a while :lol: Usually only draws about 5 or 6k tops.

These ties are weekend 5th September, the week before the leagues start
