craigkillie
There have been various rumours in the media. One is that he's not willing to track back when the opposition have the ball. IIRC he also refused to take a wage cut in the summer. It appears that Ozil is willing to sit in the stands this season, bank his £350k a week and leave on a free next year. The first one can easily be debunked by watching him play. He's not very good defensively but he still puts a shift in and tries his best out of possession. He refused to take a wage cut in the summer because, quite rightly as it turned out, he was concerned that it would end up in the owner's back pocket rather than actually saving jobs.

Nah that's pish, he's always been lazy. As for Ozil maybe cosying up to a dictator wasn't a great look. Just a guess like. -
Derry Alli
4 hours ago, Carnoustie Young Guvnor said: Aye, they paid off 55 people to save the club £2 million per year. Then deposited a cheque with La Liga for FORTY FIVE MILLION to activate Partey's release clause, and will be paying him around a quarter of a million a week. If that's true then fair fucking play to Partey. He was on €1.8m a year at Atleti.

Aye, they offered him 3.5 or something. I'm guessing, Arsenal's top paid player is on 350, a player transferred for that price would be on a pretty decent wedge. Probably a bit less but a shitload. -

Carnoustie Young Guvnor
So that's them paying him a basic wage before bonuses of over ten million a year, and they just sacked 55 ordinary people to save two million per year. Its disgraceful. Partey would also have got a signing on fee, and his agent will have been paid a lot of money. All in the deal must be worth f**k knows what. -
Barry Ferguson's Hat
Partey is a Barclays English Prem player. The shitmunchers given the boot at Arsenal are not Barclays English Prem players. Why would you give a single, solitary f**k about them? I would be honoured to martyr my job so that the greatest entertainment outlet the world has ever seen could continue. No thanks. It isn't too much more than in Scotland. And it is on TV with better quality than some of the streams poeple have paid for. I don't think people will pay for a game unless their club are involved. There is so much EPL already on TV that it is oversaturated. Making the games free for displaced season ticket holders would make it on par with what has been done up here.

scottmcleanscontacts
Wonder if Tottenham will make a special 'We beat Man U 6-1" Trophy, so they have at least got something to put in that trophy room.Because football was invented in 1992. Their trophy room is pretty decent to be fair, they just need brasso more than most.

The big clubs want a bigger slice of the pie and the wee clubs gone, it has ever been thus. This would be a step towards a European league which is inevitable eventually anyway. -

Bairnardo
They can shove these changes up their arses.A bribe for the EFL, a bribe for the FA.... An end to one club one vote system. What would that be replaced by? EPL working it's way towards full show pony league. Which is fine, will save me some money on Sky.
