Man City has just signed a young Brazilian, who looks like he'll surpass Neymar, for about £10m.

I hate the club and all that, but you can't fault the way they go about building the club/squad.

How does he look like he'll surpass Neymar, Brazil's 2nd top scorer of all time?

Relevant for both the decision, and that the clubs are seemingly happy with such calls.

They were saying the clubs want the rule changed to just measuring whether feet are offside rather than other bits of the body.

Honestly get VAR to f**k

To be honest I don't think it was a penalty but the offside decisions are a joke

Yeah I didn’t think it was a pen, but it wasn’t offside either. Two bad decisions.

I’m pretty sure Tyler said they were happy with these tight calls.

I’ve just rewound and he said “they want this kind of offside” but that “many people” think it should be the foot.

Maybe I misheard him, though he said they don’t want this kind of offside.

He could be talking utter drivel of course, but that's definitely what he said.

Two Friday night games in a row in which the only even borderline semblance of quality before half 9 has been cancelled out by the poindexter interpretation of offside and VAR.

If this is offside then the game is done.

It is completely and utterly ridiculous that some poindexter even thinks that's worth checking for offside, without a basic understanding of how fucking angles work.

It would make sense to be fair, because I’ve seen tighter decisions in the Champions League and FA Cup this season that were given without any lines.

That suggests it is specifically an EPL thing to check that someone’s arm hair wasn’t offside.
