Dark Fruits Twitter is already up in arms at the prospect of them being replaced by black or female pundits.

There is really is tears and snotters all over the place with the usual sources.  It’s fine, though, because these three excellent pundits will walk into gigs on TalkSpite.

Scotsport and Sportscene could really do with doing something similar, although I do realise that may end up leaving only Michael Stewart and Shelley Kerr.

He had a good World Cup and got a massive ego.
England's International team seem to be the kiss of death for their own goalkeepers. They do well & look promising, get called up & turn shite. Long may it continue!
Jordan Pickford, Jack Butland, Joe Hart, Scott Carson, Rob Green, Chris Kirkland, Ben Foster (ok he's improved again, but it's a long time since he was capped)

I’ll always be grateful to Pickford for getting right in Mandzukic’s face yelling at him when he was on the floor a couple of minutes before he knocked the Anglos out the tournament. Just superb stuff.

God forbid all the gammons having to sit and look at someone who looks a bit different from themselves for a few hours every Saturday.. thoughts and prayers. 🙏

Chelsea's pre-season preparations have been disrupted, with a number of players in quarantine after returning from their summer break.

No shock to anyone....

More here - https://www.football365.com/news/chelsea-confirm-eight-players-in-coronavirus-quarantine

"Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic and Fikayo Tomori are all understood to be in self-isolation after they were pictured on holiday on the Greek island of Mykonos before pre-season training began last weekend.

"Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Emerson and Michy Batshuayi are also reported to be staying away from Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.

"Chelsea have not revealed which of the eight have tested positive, but The Telegraph report six players have the virus while the other two are quarantining becuase of close contact with those affected."

That could screw up England's preparations for the Nations Cup too. Mount and Abraham are in Southgate's squad

The obvious question is were those players in Mykonos socialising with Harry Maguire too?

Pogba's got the Chinese lurgae.  Has to self-isolate for two weeks, so they're just going to play him deep midfield cause he doesn't come within a mile of anyone anyway. *

*in my defence I've had twenty seconds to come up with this

What's your excuse for the rest of your posts?

Needed freshening up. The act has grown tired and their lack of knowledge on football (And Tiss' lack of knowledge in general) has been an issue for years. Absolute morons with no redeemable features that the likes of Stelling & Kamara (Whom I'm not a fan of either) possess that allows them to get away with blethering shite.

A bit late to this party - no complaints about getting rid of those three but why keep Merson on? He has the worst combination of having shit all football knowledge and not being entertaining or funny in the slightest.

Chelsea looking tasty for this upcoming season.

They'll be even tastier a top keeper. Atm the first team looks like Caballero, Azpilcueta, Silva, Rudiger, Chilwell, Jorginho/Kante, Kovacic, Mount, Ziyech, Pulisic and Werner. Havertz would be a great replacement for Willian.

There's a lot of fringe/out of favour players who could be sold to raise more cash. You could field a full team from Kepa, Zappacosta, Miazga, Omerou, Emerson/Alonso, Rahman, Ampadu, Drinkwater, Bakayoko, Kenedy, Musonda and Batshuayi

Christensen, Zouma and even Kante (PSG?) may leave too. I'd sell Hudson-Odoi and Abraham but Lampard loves his English players.

Butland declined after his long-term injury. Carson was happy to take Man City's big wages as 3rd choice. Hart is happy to do the same at Spurs.

Pickford shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad. Media reports say that Ancelotti does not rate him and wants to sign a new keeper.

Nick Pope and Tom Heaton, if fit, are the best that England have. Alex McCarthy has improved a lot in recent months. Ramsdale could thrive back in Sheffield.

The boy Henderson might be the best England have. Always impressed by him

Very good under Chris Wilder but he's had only one season in the EPL. Before joining Sheffield United, Henderson was on loan at Shrewsbury. The media has reported that he was demanding contractual guarantees to be number one at United!  If that's true, such arrogance (and disrespect towards De Gea and Romero) could be his undoing. Even with a new long-term contract, Henderson could be loaned out again.

IMHO Pope is better and more experienced than Henderson. His performances against the top 4 last season were incredible at times. He'd be a great signing for a big club like Chelsea. I've always rated Heaton too but it's unlikely that he'll be back from his terrible injury before November. At 34, it could be a very hard road back to top form. McCarthy also had some great games this year and was a key player in Southampton's turnaround. He's much better and more consistent than he was at Palace.
