AndyX
Do we have any figures yet on how many people are paying to watch games just now? There will be some who won't because it's not the same as going to the game. Maybe more away fans though? For example, did more Killie fans pay-per-view last night than would usually go to Dingwall on a Wednesday night?

G51
I haven't seen any clubs releasing those figures

That's quite healthy although there won't be any catering revenue etc. It could be quite important for the smaller clubs if the likes of Hibs and Aberdeen bring bigger away team demand for PPV. Any Celtic or Rangers games not chosen by Sky would also be big.

You’d like to think clubs would make something from it. God knows it’s a much overlooked income stream.
The Great Stagsby
I had 732 friends round at my place for the County game last night. Charged 50p and a beer per person. I'm up £351 and have 711 beers left in the fridge. Think I'll charge £1 next time.
craigkillie
Celtic sold about 50,000 season tickets so I assume they announced an official attendance of 50,000 on the opening day.

Police Scotland will now give an unofficial bandwidth safety estimate of 18,000.

Too much for a TV game so most folk found a free link. Edited August 13, 2020 by the west curve
