That's why I reckon it'll be season ticket holders only as if it's not then away fans will buy tickets and travel regardless of being told not to.

Season ticket holders only also gives a register. of who is at the game if there is an issue.

I know Saints are working on plans for fans to return , gates may need to open early and people will be expected to be in their seats well before the usual last 15 rush at the turnstiles. Will people turn up an hour early ?

There will be issues in every ground, There is limited space under the 3 smaller stands at McDiarmid and it could be hard to operate a one way system for toilets and food in these stands but they will need to work out a way for this to happen.

Yeah no doubt they will. I imagine to be allowed fans back in the club's individually will need to demonstrate their measures to the joint response group prior to her approval when that time comes.

Speculating but the one way system could work along the lines of...

They could have the season ticket scanners outside the fire doors as there's concerns about turnstiles. Enter the stadium and turn right so using the east stand as an example the one way could qoek as a circle of it you want to go inside you need to walk north to south outside in the stand then along pass toilet and kiosk etc South to North under the stand.

Seen something online earlier referencing the gates opening early and fans given potential slots to arrive. Difficult for a club to ask say someone in their 60's to arrive an hour early in the winter though!

Woman's toilets also an issue with only one door.

My concern is that football fans might decide that going to watch the football might be too much and stop going after one or two experiences or not at all. They way we go about our daily routines and how we interact has changed maybe for good. A lot depends on how each individual football club manages the changes, if they don't they could lose walk in fans for good.

I have thought of this for some time that football should do a bit more to attract fans to stadiums. People on here laugh at the idea of trying out ideas that other sports do and the thought is that a pint before the game and walk to the ground is all you need for a day out and any ideas contrary to that belong elsewhere. Having been to a lot of other sporting events, football abroad included, the things around match days are so superior to football in this country it baffles me why we accept it and I don't know if we are accepting it anymore. Although Scotland has a high attendance per capita I heard the Aberdeen and Motherwell chairmen saying the highest demographic of their fans is late 40yr old men (I would be surprised if that wasn't the case for all clubs). If we keep appeasing the 40-50yr old men then attendances will eventually decline. If clubs don't have fresh ideas after Covid then fan attendances may go down.

The folk in charge of football, and the people who run these clubs that seem to have zero ambition to do acting except pick up money from the league, could start by not shafting the 3rd best supported team in the country during a crisis for no reason, a club that can sell as many if not more STs as its city rival when in the league below facing a season that may not even happen, and on top of that their fans give £150k a month to the club in a fan ownership models other clubs should be doing everything they can to emulate.

Then, when that team is starting to build some excitement amongst its fanbase, including all the youngsters desperate to see their heroes again even in training, for the new season they then force that club to stop training for no reason, potentially harming the progress of players recovering from injury and costing the club hundreds of thousands in costs of taking players and staff off furlough and paying for testing.

Are you still whining.  You must've been that kid in the shop that never stops greeting because he is not getting a toy.

Bits in bold, nae problem for the third richest club in Scotland - when is the arbitration costs being decided?

And an incorrect one at that.

Boys a fanny.

Looking forward to seeing Hearts join the 8th level of English football, should be a giggle.

That’s excellent news.

Third biggest support in Scotland and throwing 150k a month at it to see your team relegated to the Championship is money well spent without noticing the real issue here.

Not sure why we're reading about that load of pish on the Premiership Forum anyway.
