COVID-19 In Scottish Football

Recommended Posts

The folk in charge of football, and the people who run these clubs that seem to have zero ambition to do acting except pick up money from the league, could start by not shafting the 3rd best supported team in the country during a crisis for no reason, a club that can sell as many if not more STs as its city rival when in the league below facing a season that may not even happen, and on top of that their fans give £150k a month to the club in a fan ownership models other clubs should be doing everything they can to emulate.
Then, when that team is starting to build some excitement amongst its fanbase, including all the youngsters desperate to see their heroes again even in training, for the new season they then force that club to stop training for no reason, potentially harming the progress of players recovering from injury and costing the club hundreds of thousands in costs of taking players and staff off furlough and paying for testing.

Hearts shouldn't have been relegated because they have a good number of fans turning up at Whinecastle is certainly a unique take.

Imagine how petty you'd have to be to be raging about the start of the process of getting fans returning to grounds. Maybe Aberdeen would have been able to think about hosting an event at Pittodrie if the city wasn't in lockdown.

Two clubs whose players can’t behave. Neither should be given the privilege of a “test event”.

Have a look at the post just above yours.

Grow up.

Celtic have been charged by the SPFL re Covid 19 regulations which will be heard on August 28th. Celtic are to ask the Scottish Government to allow them a special privilege, regardless of what Willy says, to allow their fans in to a match two days after that. To allow that to happen, a decision by the Scottish Government would have to be made prior to the outcome of the charge being known. The club think that is a reasonable request.

Bolingoli can go out and play 5 a side with his neighbours if he wants what's that got to do with fans getting into stadiums?

Celtic Football Club have been charged by the SPFL for breaching the agreed regulations that clubs have to abide by, as have Aberdeen. That is totally separate from the charges brought against the nine players involved.

A 10 points deduction will still not stop Celtic winning the league what's your point?
