Surely that's not going to be the case?

Blanket defeats for teams who can't play due to covid?

On another note. Why the f**k was the rules regarding this not decided before the season started?

You can't do this halfway through the season. What an incredibly stupid idea.

I can't see this idea being that sensible. Although as a St Mirren supporter, we'd have been stung and gained from it, and with good number of the squad having had it, it might work out for us....

Plus we know if it happened to the OF they would shit it. Imagine, Rangers being given a 3-0 forfeit allowing Celtic to overtake them in the league. Never happening.

This. It's embarrassing.

Surely they should be planning for every eventuality? Particularly after they ended up with egg on their face over the downtime period but it seems they've learned very little?

Even the "in the event of having to curtail the season due to covid" again, that should have been dealt with prior to the season starting as well rather than waiting till nearly 3 months in.

I think if there are 9 games or more to go, then the league should be declared null and void.

Regardless of what happens, no teams should be promoted from the clown car 27 game diddy league.

It has to be the same as last season when Celtic were gifted the Championship.

Deciding what to do if the league has to be ended prematurely again should have been decided before the season started, but making the decision now isn't a problem.

Changing the rules on what happens in the event of postponements due to Covid-19 mid-season after there have already been several postponements however is a nonsense suggestion which can't be allowed.

Glad to see the rest of the teams finally admitting how utterly incompetent Doncaster and the SPFL is now it might affect their own clubs. Not so fun when it's your club that might get shafted by his nonsense is it?

If only more than a third of SPFL clubs had voted for an inquiry into the way Doncaster and co runs the league, instead of effectively giving him a vote of confidence to carry on making a giant mess of everything.

one word answer incompetence.....

It's almost as if the SPFL didn't get notice well in advance from SG, Jason Leitch etc that a 2nd wave could impact on the season.

Doncaster & Co really do make it up as they go along.

Fan of club that has directly benefited to a massive degree from the pyramid system in Scottish football wants to end the pyramid. Aren't you just supposed to just "take your medicine"?

They asked the clubs to give the board powers about this and the clubs voted no. That was before the season started, not sure why they didn't after the no vote, draft up some procedures in case of a problem completing the season.

In my opinion the season should be null and voided if the whole season isn't completed. 😉

Sir Neil guided the SPFL through troubled and unprecedented Covid waters with grace and decorum whilst under vicious attack from ****, mini-**** and irrelevant third tier hangers on from Glasgow. He effortlessly swatted all of them aside.

He helped to give the majority of Scottish football clubs what they wanted and deserves a pay rise if anything.

Give Doncaster the executive powers he so craves.

Worried you won't be able to vote yourself out of relegation danger again?

Shankland scored against anyone decent in the "elite" league yet? Maybe one day he'll have as many Premiership goals as Craig Halkett or Craig Wighton. You can but dream.

Ross County were elected into Division 3 in 1994 after decades of clubs like yours voting to keep Highland League teams out of the league.

I'll take great delight in Uncle Roy making Hearts taste their own medicine.
