Yip. I seem to remember reading something about ‘Beau Lieu’ many moons ago. Romantic Victorian pish probably.
Eilean a’Bhogha in Loch Lomond, apparently ’Isle of the bow’ because of its yew trees, becomes ‘Island I Vow’. Purge needed come the revolution.
