Sky's coverage is somehow about to get even more obnoxious.

That will really be beyond the pale. Contrived arguments that they can clip up and stick on social media as EXPLOSIVE DEBATE.

Sutton is actually capable when he just talks about football, but he’s chosen his path as professional wind up merchant along with Boyd so it’ll just be absolute toilet tv.

When he covered SPFL for BT then he actually knew his stuff about the teams that were being covered and didn’t treat it like an old firm/England sideshow like most of the Sky pundits.

Him and Boyd up against each other will be tedious though.

Yeah and not just top flight teams either.

I don't actually mind Sutton. Behind all his obvious wind-up tactics, he at least knows most of the teams in the league.

However, Kris Boyd likes to think he knows the rest of the teams, but we all know he's there for one team.

If you stuck Sky Sports on without having any idea who James McFadden is, you'd be excused for thinking they had dragged a clueless punter in off the streets for the job. He adds f**k all. His "analysis" is fucking woeful.

You might not like it, but i appreciate being told whether or not a striker "should be hitting the target" from a couple of yards out.

These people aren't chosen because they are informative, knowledgeable or insightful. They are chosen because they are as knowledgeable and insightful as the average sky punter (lifelong Man U fan, Maidenhead, drinks Carling) and help the viewer feel good about their low level of understanding.

Only in Scotland would adding a sellic-minded pundit to balance the staunch pundit be billed as a "revamp". There are lots of revamps needed to Sky's coverage as everyone knows - adding Chris Sutton to get some better fake arguments going probably wasn't part of anyone's list.

I'd just like to point out that Chris Sutton once put Kris Boyd in his team of the week for his winner for Kilmarnock one time and spoke of how well he played in the game.

Kris Boyd never played. Scott Boyd scored the winner.

The way he loses his shit over every VAR decision was becoming nauseating. Would keep ranting about it for about 15  minutes after even if it was used correctly was doing my tits in.

Walker is by some distance the worst thing about Sky Sports' coverage, it is absolutely fantastic news that he is gone. Sutton isn't perfect, but he is miles ahead of Walker in that he actually tries to analyse the game and has a lot more knowledge in general.

Crocker next please.

The fact they have the “shock jocks” of Boyd & Sutton as pundits shows you what Sky think of “Scottish” football, it’s purely to appeal to the lowest common denominator of the Glasgow two, that’s patently obvious.

And it’s exactly why I told Sky to poke it up their hole ages ago.

IPTV all the way & fcuk Sky
