Sky Sports are Taking the Piss Thread

Mind when everyone used to go on about how much better BT was than Sky? That fucking Scottish Football Extra on BT is absolutely unwatchable. Literally 2 minutes about anything other than the old firm. Even the fucking quiz questions are basically all about them an all, and Sutton and McCoist being a pair of banter merchants can f**k right off.

It is absolutely horrendous - basically they just keep doing it as it's very cheap to make, gives their Scottish on-air staff something to do and it make it looks like they care about Scottish football.

Which they clearly didn't as they put in a £10m bid for the SPFL rights.

I think when BT brought Alex Rae on their coverage in 2018-19(?), that was the beginning of their quite sharp decline in their coverage - it's just massively Old-Firmified now. Even more so than Sky.

The general PnB opinion has always been that BT sports cared about Scottish fitba.

The coverage is just utter shite, isn't it?

Edinburgh derby is on the 9th April, so it looks as though that isn’t being shown on tv for a change.

Only ourselves to blame to be fair, usually a terrible spectacle.

Suppose some rounds have to miss out & would rather be midweek than weekends.

Aberdeen -Celtic the obvious choice but only allowed so many games per ground.

No rounds should be missed out.

Both the SPFL and Sky are to blame for this shite deal

The club's wanted less games on television. But everything this comes up, people dare not criticize their own club for voting for it and blame Sky for it.

If the clubs wanted more games on television, they would have done so.

Sky chose not to fulfil their quota last season, and have done the same this season. I don’t  have sky but its a kick in the teeth for those who have forked out for it based on what they were meant to be providing.

ETA. - Aberdeen Celtic should have been an absolute stick on to be shown, ended up being a great game and should have put to a wider audience for the benefit of league exposure.

How can you know at this point that Sky won't fulfil their quota?
